Multiple Selections at Info package Routine in SAP BW

Hello All,

We have a data model implemented in SAP BW system where we are looking to revise it now. To make a change in the design, we would require your suggestions/proposals on this:

As this is global data load, and BW system is extracting data based on personal area wise from SAP HR system and this extraction is setup to do 4 times a day.

• We created 3 custom tables and maintain Personal areas (i.e. 150) in it and written a routine at info package selection to extract based on the table entries in order
• If any entry got stuck or running long, then support guys manually kill the job and remove the entry from the tables and do manual load for remaining entries
• Due to which there is a lot of manual intervention involved in it and if support guys will not take any action on time, then it leads to major escalation from client

In terms of automation, process improvement, need your thoughts on this ?

Is personnel area a key field in the source table(s)?

If not, is the table key available as a selection in the InfoPackage?

If so, consider adding a "meaningless" selection against the key "0000000000" to "ZZZZZZZZZ"

This may force a sequential seach against the table key with greater efficiency.
