Multiple selection

hi bi experts,

i have requirement like in the web report i need to have multiple selections.

i have used the dropdown box but it is only giving the single selections. one more thing is i have used the more than one query in the template. based on the selection both the query should be refreshed.

how do i get the multipleselection and same time it should refresh the both the quries.

if i used the filter panel i can get the multiple selections but it wont refresh both the quries.

one more thing is in variable selection if i enter some year value it is not showing in the dropdown or filter panel.
