MSSQL DB restore for PO

Hi Team,
 
We have two PO systems running the same version of SAP NetWeaver 7.5 on Azure with an MSSQL database:
 
- PO 1 - BPI
- PO 2 - BPO
 
We are planning to restore the DB backup of the BPI system onto the BPO system. If we proceed with this restoration, considering both systems are on NetWeaver 7.5, are there any potential configuration issues that might arise on the BPO system?

Yes, you can do that, but we don't recommend it.

This operation is generally only recommended for PRD systems to QAS or DEV systems.

Restoring a database backup from one PO system to another can be a complex process and should be carefully planned and executed. Even though both systems are running the same version of SAP NetWeaver 7.5 on Azure with an MSSQL database.

And please note that after restore, all data of the BPO system will be lost.
