Monitoring DSI packet size use?

I see there's a db_packet_size connection parameter. Are there any stats counters for monitoring to see the average packet fullness for a DSI connection?

Yes, the replicate db server is ASE (16). And I do see interesting monProcessNetIO data for spids associated with the DSI connection. Not so good for longer term data collection because the DSIs disconnect and reconnect, but pretty useful as short term research tool

In my case (replicating large varbinary fields), we have max packet size set to 4096. A quick check right now for a busy DSI shows an average packet size of 3452. So that sounds like it might help to increase the repserver DSI packet size.

Note, at my site, we have the TCP "Message Transfer Unit" (MTU) network parameter set to 9000 (1500 has the been the default since the dawn of the time). So bumping up repserver DSI packet size to 8192 would not bump into TCP level packet fragmentation.

Thanks for the suggestion!
