Modification of Purchase Requisition item custom field based on the material group .

I have created a custom field in Purchase requisition item level in public cloud . I have three values in the dropdown , namely HIGH ,MEDIUM and LOW . I want the system to display the values HIGH , MEDIUM and LOW in the custom field based on the material group of that line item.

If you have any alternative solution to this scenario please do share .
