Mobilink > Changing a synchronisation model after it has been deployed?

I'm trying to wrap my head around Mobilink for the first time and I'm getting confused with the following:

• When I created my first synchronisation model, the wizard automatically installed various upload/download scripts for each table. I confirmed via Mobilink > My Project > Consolidated databases > My DB > Synchronized tables > Select table > upload_insert (or one of the scripts that show up there).
• Then I added a new column to one of my tables.
• Then I used the Update Schema Wizard to update the schema within the synchronization model (both, consolidated and remote schema).
• This worked, and I can see the new column show up at Mobilink > My Project > Synchronization models > Pick correct version > Mappings
• Then I deployed the new model

However, after deployment, when I check the scripts at Mobilink > My Project > Consolidated databases > My DB > Synchronized tables > Select table > upload_insert -- that script doesn't have the newly created column.

How come one part of the UI is showing the newly created column (and also allowed me to map between consolidate <=> remote table), whereas the actual update/insert scripts do not mention the newly created column?
