missing security patches

We haven’t patched our SAP ABAP system since 2017. Can The System Recommendations (SysRec) application within the Solution Manager discover, analyze and apply all the missing security patches to our SAP ABAP system without necessarily applying Support Package Stacks?

Please allow me to answer your question.

Firstly, the relevant configuration of System Recommendations needs to be completed in Solution Manager System.

Then, System Recommendations can discover and analyze all the missing security patches, and display them in System Recommendations application.

System Recommendations can not apply all the missing security patches, because System Recommendations can only help to discover and display security patches that may be applicable at the moment, in fact, they may not all be applicable to your system, so you need to check them one by one before applying them to the relevant system.
