Migration of a Web Dynpro Application with WebServices to another System

Hey guys,

I have developed a Web Dynpro Application, The Web Dynpro Applications consumes EJBs over Web Services via Adaptive Web Service Model. Now I wanted to deploy the whole Application (EJBWebServices) to another Server.

Unfortunatelly the Web Dynpro Adaptive WebService models keep the information about the target adresses of the Web Services ( to the wrong server ).

How can I change this at design time or dynamically at runtime ?? Is it possible ? I really dont want to reimport the models.

Regards

Flo

Hi,

You can configure logical destinations in the case.

Enable logical destination on your current model by changing the settings in the settings.

-> Select Model in explorer and open properties view

One you set these logical destination in NWDS. You have to create the logical destination at runtime.

There you can map these logical destination to new location of Web Service.

Now when AWS Model runs, it will query the logical destinations configured at Server to find specified location of Web Service will execute the Web Service.
