Messages in HOLDING status SAP PO

Hi Experts,

We have many messages stuck on SAP PO where receiver system is also SAP PI/PO..Also nothing shows up in message logs and Could you please guide to resolve the issue, Please see below snippets..thanks!

Is it EOIO scenario (Exactly Once In Order)? For this kind of processing one error message can block all others, depending on the queue settings.

You can check in below monitoring tool:
Configuration and Monitoring > Monitoring > Adapter Engine > Adapter Engine Status.

Under tab Backlog check general overview of how many messages are in Hold status and for which components, switch to tab Queues and you can check if there are some problems with any queue - search for high numbers in column Number of Entries in Queue. Third tab EOIO Sequences provide detailed information about messages that are in hold status, you can find which message is causing the block there.
