Messagehandling in UI5 1.96.21 vs 1.112.0

Hi,

in RAP, i set messages in the auth method. This work only in the latest UI5 version, older versions don't display anything. The messages itself aren't part of the response. The way how 1.96 is calling a request is not motivating RAP to add them to the response.

• Is this a bug in 1.96 or RAP?
• How to achieve the same behaviour for 1.96.?
• Any other RAP event where i can set messages for read/on draft creation?

1.96. => no messages in the UI

1.112.0 => WORKS

This would be a question to RAP colleagues since the messages are not part of the response itself so best to remove the Fiori Elements tag here 🙂

Why do you believe its not the fault of Fiori Elements?
Clearly it works in some versions. I would say 1.96.x is the buggy part
