Measure object in WebI shows #DATATYPE

Hi,

One of the RKF's that I am using in WebI shows #DATATYPE. All the other RKF's are working fine. Our Universe is based on BEx Query. We did not make any changes after we built the OLAP Universe. I refreshed the Universe couple of times, still there's no change. I checked the SELECT statement of this measure, which looks fine and parsing is also OK.

Is there any setting in BEx that I am missing or is it something to do in the Universe.

Please help me on this issue

Thanks,

Krishna

Hi Krishna, this means that the data in the object is a diferent data type that the object is set. Check in the universe wich is the data type of this object, and also check in bex if you don´t have problems with the data that is comming in the RKF

Hi Liliana Alejandra,

Thanks for the reply. I checked the Universe and the data type for all my RKF's are 'Number'. And also I checked in BEx, the data is populating for this RKF. But still I have this #DATATYPE issue.

Krishna

Hi,

Check whether any NULLs or NANs are coming into WebI from BEx. NULLs & NAN values are known to create problems when they come into WebI.

Issue resolved!

We created a new Universe and created all the WebI reports from scratch.

Thanks all.
