MDG-M Data Storage in Staging Area

Hello Colleagues,

Help me know if we can see the tables where MDG-M staging data is stored. Does MDG-M have own tables to hold the staging data and replicate to MARA or standard tables on approval / or uses same MARA etc tables for holding staging data?

Hi Ahmed,

You can use report USMD_DATA_MODEL and specify the data model (MM) to see all the staging tables corresponding to each entity.

You can only replicate data that is not in staging area. (Only data that is approved).

MDG-M uses the data from underlying MARA tables (in case of reuse mode) or staging tables (where active flag i.e USMD_ACTIVE s 'X' in case of flex mode) to replicate to the target client.

Hi Pramod,

Can you please explain why staging check/text tables are there for type 2 entities ? Though they are not getting filled anywhere.
