MATMAS not trigger when material classification is changed

Dear experts

When I update material classification data via mm02 or MDG, the MATMAS IDOC is not created . There is no drff filter or BD64 filter regarding classification.

Is there any idea why the IDOC is not created?

Hello Simsek,

Classification data is not a part of material master data. They should be distributed by CLFMAS iDocs rather than MATAMS iDocs. From material master point of view, changing classification will not trigger change pointers for MATAMS message type. This is a correct system behavior. If you need to distribute classification data to different systems, please consider trigger CLFMAS iDocs.
