Material revision using ECM in SAP MDG

Hi, We are looking into materials revisions using ECM in MDG for materials master. We are at MDG 7.0 . Can anybody provide a document to explain this concept and how to use this in SAP MDG. I have seen a lot of content in ECC but I am looking for this in SAP MDG. Please help.
