Master Data Reporting........data flow model

I will be working on Master Data reporting. I heard that this can be done by loading data from a Datasource into an InfoObject. I would like to see a data model for this scenario. Can anyone help me on this?

Hi Balaji,

To enable Master data reporting you just need to check the InfoObject is Infoprovider setting in RSD1 > Master data tab. Then you can create a query on this InfoObject.

Hi:

If you want to be more specific.

Open the InfoObject in change mode.

Go to Tab - Master Data/Texts

Here, if you go down, you will see a box for "InfoArea". Open this box and pick an InfoArea.

THis will do2 things.

1) It will allow you to create reports in the InfoObject.

2) It will allow you to Update the Master Data using any InfoSOurce.
