Margin%

Hi Frens,

I have strucked in Bex where I want to calculate Margin in %.

Using a simple formula ie. total margin/ total sales * 100, it will give you only values. But I want to display % symbol after each value

for eg 40.1%

39.5% etc.

I am trying with Percentage functions but I am not able to put in proper.

Thanks in Advance,

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

You can try the operator Percentage Share (%A), like Total Margin %A Total Sales. For info check this link:

Hope this helps...

Hi Bhanu,

Thanks a lot. I am sorry, I could not see the result in first instance . It happened because I set the scaling factor for ALL THE KEY FIGURES.

tHANKS ONCE AGAIN,

Hi Suresh,

I am using it in a query and it gives me the % sign. Are you using any other setting like scaling factors, or have you also used NODIM in this formula?

Hi Bhanu,

I am sorry for the late reply. As I also have some problems of DIV0, to avoid it,

I have written a overall formula using Data function NDVI0() and inserted the formula in the brackets.

eg. NDVI0( total margin %A total Sales). By this if any zeros in sales and margins, becomes zero and result is in %.

Thanks in advance.

Suresh
