Hi experts,

Need some advice, please.

Currently working on a project that are looking to migrate our current ECC business roles into Fiori roles.

What is the best approach to do the analysis to understand what t-codes/auth objects are replaced or obsolete within Fiori?

Regards

Chris

Hi chris.wake,

It all depends on what Fiori app end user needs via Fiori launch pad.
For Fiori there is a library called Fiori App Library. This library provided key information like
Link: https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#

1) Key information for each app, including the technical data you need for installation and configuration.
2) It also provide technical details like technical catalog, business catalog, business group and list of business roles needed for each Fiori app to be assigned to end user.

Lets take an example of Fiori App "Actual Cash Flow" i.e. it main function is to display cash flows by company code etc. If you see technical details of this app in library it says you need to have

Technical Catalog
SAP_TC_FIN_CM_COMMON

business catalog
SAP_SFIN_BC_CM_LM - Cash Management - Liquidity Management

Roles
SAP_BR_CASH_MANAGER - Cash Manager
SAP_BR_CASH_SPECIALIST - Cash Management Specialist
