Lumira Desktop 1.30 RAM Recommendations

Can anyone tell me the required / recommended total RAM for a PC running Lumira desktop? We want to setup a VP with Lumira but his PC has only 4GB of RAM. The PAM says 4GB required, but there's some debate here as to whether that means just for Lumira or total for the machine. In other words, do we need to account for 4GB for Lumira + additional for OS and other applications? Thanks.

4 GB in minimum RAM for the machine for Lumira - you can have other apps running- but depending on what you are doing with Lumira and how much data you are working with, I personally would go for 8GB

      Keep in-mind that 4Gig is the minimum but I would strongly recommend 8Gigs if you want to have performance related issues.   When you start creating stories with larger data-sets you will need 8Gig.
