Hi All,
Currently we are having a requirement to integrate the Lotus calendar on the desktop/homepage of the portal.
ie., i should be able to display the calendar as a link/iview and on click of tht link should show me the calendar where i can check my appointments, check the availability, create some to do list etc and tht should be saved on the lotus server.
Is this possible.
I know calendar integration through GROUPWARE but, those calendar links will be part of the collaboration(correct me if i am worng).
in one of the posts i saw that using Web mail Redirect and Inotes , we can access sepecific apps like calendar view etc.., how to do that
we are already using Lotus Inotes mail through webbrowser. (http://mymail.xxxx.com).
plz guide me in this
Request clarification before answering.
Hi kavitha,
I did calendar integration with Exchange server a long time ago. It worked great for my colleagues. I imagine it would be similar with Lotus. The calendar was a room part so yes, it is part of collaboration.
Best regards,
Duncan

Hi Duncan,
Thankyou for the reply. I was also wondering the same, the calendar integration if done through groupware will allow me to check only inside the collaboration room
Also i checked in many links that(Lotus) Email and calendar are tightly integrated.
wanted to know if alone calendar can be extracted as a seperate entity from Lotus atleast. so that the url can be used.
Hi Kavitha,
Reading http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/bf/57934258a5ca6ae10000000a155106/content.htm makes it sound like you could treat it has KM repository but this is not something that I personally have experience with.
Best regards,
Duncan
