Hi,

Web DynPro Application (I assume that what you meant) should take the portal's theme by default if you run it within the portal context.

In case you are not running it within the portal context (through NWDS deploy and run for example) it won't take the portal's theme, only when you create an iView on top of it.

In case you did create an iView and it doesn't work, how did you create it?

Can you please check the following properties of this iView:

Supply Portal Stylesheet: Should be Yes

Supported User Agents: Should contain your browser type

Unsupported User Agents: Should'nt contain your browser type

Web Dynpro Client: Should be Plain HTML

Does this problem also happening when you put the iView in a role and navigate to it from the portal top level navigation?

Well, assuming it is happening to all users and you haven't changed the master rule collection, personally I can't think of something from the portal side, in case someone else has an idea I'll be happy to learn.

there might be a property configuration from the ABAP side, I would suggest you to post this question at the Web Dynpro for ABAP forum.
