I've read here that you cannot log into the developers version of WEBAS with the standard SAP GUI. Is there any other way that I can get into the system and run a transaction manually? A web front end or something?
My question is the same. I think it is bad to install an SAP system without actually having access to it the usual way! How would I be able to create function modules etcetera?
The WAS Developer Edition is just a J2EE Engine without SAP system for the purpose of testing new J2EE, Web Services and Web Dynpro functionality in the Java stack. The WAS 6.40 Full Edition does also contain a SAP system with the full ABAP stack like you are used to.
