Lock entry deleted manually

Hi all,

In my sm21 log i found lock entry deleted manually. I didnt deleted any lock for this user and user too dont have sm12 in his profile.

I would like to know about this user. Is there any log file is there ican find deleted locks and who deleted that lock?

Hi Mahesh,

Please check with the same user name whether any update request is failed or in any other state.

Using that you will have an idea of what user is doing in SAP. Once the workprocessor which is allocated to user is completed it's work then update will come into effect.

There are many chances here for an update to be in Error state.

hi All,

i am also getting the same error "Lock entry deleted manually: Transaction J1IEX" daily. except me no one has authorization to SM12. i checked Stad no luck, COuld some one help me on this.

Note: there are no lock entrys in SM12.

Dear Mahesh,

This message will generally comes when the user wil out in between some activity. no need to worry about this .

You will just try one thing - Go to SM12 check yesterday lock entries or 4 to 5 Hrs before lock entries. if the J1IEX entry is available in SM12 then select and manually delete this through SM12.

Dear Mahesh,

The lock entries will be deleted through SM12. SM12 is Basis T-code and as a Basis consultant we need to delete this lock entry . Infact SM12 T-code is the part of daily monitoring sheet, and we need to monitor the lock entries on daily basis.

even if i dint delete lock same thing happening daily at regular intervals. can i ignore this log....

user may have killed his session which was holidng the lock.

If you cancel the lock from SM12 then you see the transaction as SM12 not J1IEX. (for example The lock entry has been manually deleted (transaction SM12).

You can check who executed SM12 in STAD for the time you want to analyse the issue.

Except me no has acces to sm12.

But the user too dont have sm12 access in his roles... wht might be the reason.. any inputs?
