Load to a cube

Can I carry out to an init load to a cube and than delete the contents of this load and still have a succesful delta mechanism? Thanks

Yes, you do selective deletion, which delete the data, but not a request info from control table.

Thanks for that but once I have selectively deleted the data for the init, what is deleted is all the records which were loaded as part of that request and I should not have any problem with the future delta loads is that correct?

Do an init without data trasnfer and you are sure that delta will work well.

After deleting cube content, delta is still working because delta mechanism is managed by source system. But i don't think so that the result were the spected ones with after/before image delta mechanism.
