LO extraction.

Hi All

I have an existing R/3 v4.7 (not BI / BW) LIS productive reporting and we now have a new install of BI (NW04s) and as a starting point would like to install BI Content for Purchasing, Inventory and Order Fulfilment.

i want to use 2lis_01_s001,2lis_01_s005 can we use the same info sources or they are replaced by others.

I would like to only use the LO Cockpit in the hope that I will not interfere with the exiting (and remaining) LIS reporting, however, when I look at help.sap.com it would appear that some of the BI content still uses "S" DataSources.

Do i have to use the "S" DataSources or should i re-building it.

Hi,

I don't think that these data sources are now supported anymore in 2004s. you can use the standard LO for your requirement.

Hi you have the 'S'tandard datasources you can use them.

What do you mean by "S" data sources?

Anyway, which info source do you use is not much of significance when it comes to LO info sources. Which data source do you use is the key.

Make sure you use the right data source for purchasing and follow the LO extraction steps, you will be fine.
