Hello,
Does anyone know how to active a LIS structure in LBWE. I am trying to do a V3 update, and i can't do it until the light is green.
Thank you
First you have to go to the RSA5 and transfer the datasource you will be working in lbwe, and check it on RSA6 and make sure its working in RSA3. than you can work on LBWE for the required datasource. Go to maintain, datasource, and you will see the green light from inactive to active.
Let me know if you need anymore information.
Hope this help.

We are doing the LO Cookpit extraction as well and if we follow the same steps, we've also got the same error msg as you two had got and we believe you two have resoloved the problem, right?
Could you two elaborate on how to do the LBWE? When we tried to run LBWE, on the right frame, there are three parallel pencil buttons, 1st one is "Maintenance", 2nd one is "2LIS_11_VAITM", and the 3rd one is "Inactive". If we click 1st one Maintenance, it pops up a dialog box, click Continue, get the msg "You have not changed the extraciton stucture", if we click 2nd button "2LIS_11_VAITM" and the 3rd button "Inactive", get the msg "Datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM doesn't exist". We would be appreciated if you guys could explain in details on how to operate on LBWE!
Thanks in advance!
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
I believe you don't have that particular Datasource existed in LBWE what you see in LBWE is just a name. So, I suggest you go to RSA5(installation of content datasources) highlight the concerned datasource and click on 'version comparison'. It compares with the datasource if you already transferred this particular datasource. Then click on 'transfer datasource' and click 'log' for results. Goto LBWE and see you can maintain, change and activate/deactivate this time around.
Hope it will help!!

Hi,
there is a useful document for you at http://service.sap.com/bi -> Documentation -> Business Content Documentation -> 2.0B Extraction of Logistics Transaction Data.
Do not mind the old version number. It still applies to the actual version of the Cockpit.
Hope that helps,
Bernd Sieger
