Links on XI initial page

Hi,

I've recently installed WebAS 6.40 SR1 and XI 3.0 on a HP-UX machine. When remotely calling sxmb_ifr transaction it opens a browser with address http://<name_of_XI_host>:<Java_port>/rep/start/index.jsp where <name_of_XI_host> is wrong. It should be the machine's IP but it is the machine's name (in my case sapapt).

Even accessing directly with http://<IP_of_XI_host>:<Java_port>/rep/start/index.jsp all the links on the initial <i>SAP Exchange Infrastructure</i> page come wrong, with the machine's name instead of it's IP.

Does anybody know where do I setup this value correctly?

Hi,

you can try

Exchangeprofile:

node

Connections

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name

but it shoud be the "hostname of the repository server" I guess

I followed Somckit and Michal's advice. Updating my host file is nice for me, but I wanted the address to come right for all the team here.

Hi Daniel,

Did you enter the hostname in the host file on your operating system? Goto:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

goto file "hosts" and edit it with e.g. notepad and enter your IP address and a "TAB" and then your host!

This should work fine

I think it's in the exchange profile:

Try--

http://<IP_of_XI_host>:<Java_port>/exchangeProfile

login as XISUPER

Goto Connections (expand it) and look for an entry with "name" in it -- for example:

com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name

It should have your server's hostname in there...
