Linking Multiple Dropdowns

I have 7 different dropdowns in Visual Composer that I want to link to each other. For example, one dropdown would be on Organization and another on Company Code. If I select a particular Organization, I want Company Code dropdown to only show the Company Codes associated with that Organization. Can someone tell me (and show if possible) what I need to do to make these work? If possible, I don't want to run the report until all 7 dropdowns have been chosen and then hit the submit button to run the report. Thanks!

I looked at this, but it seems to be referencing RFC function modules. Do I have to do the same thing for a BW/BI query? If it is done differently, can you provide snapshots of what I need to do to make this work? I only have about a week to make this work. Thanks!

No, I don't have an example at hand with BI, but it should work the same way. But you don't have to create an RFC for doing that.

Perhaps somebody else has an example at hand?
