Link to MIME Image in WAD

Hi, I'm trying to get an image stored in the MIME repository to show up on my Web Template. The image is stored in SAP/BW/Customer/Images/

I have tried everything to no avail: It looks like when I execute the web template from WAD it automatically gets served up through the portal. Is this causing my problem? should my image be stored on portal?

What should the link to my image be if it is stored in SAP/BW/Customer/Images/ ?

Thanks!

Temporarily Deprecated Functionality

Use the following for images:

bwmimerep:///sap/bw/mime/Customer/Images/MY_LOGO.GIF

Hello,

See following thread for answer:

We try to improve this situation. Of course the dialog for choosing the picture from local PC makes no sence. New MIME dialog is currently in implementation.

Hi Kenneth,

The link should look like "/sap/bw/Mime/Customer/Images/xxx.gif" . Can you see it listed in the WAD menu Insert > Picture?

OK, I couldn't get it to work!

This is what I have:

"<img src="/SAP/BW/Mime/Customer/Images/frxlogo.jpg" border="0" />"

Any ideas why it won't appear? When I do in insert image in WAD all I get is local pc images. Is this right?

Thanks for the help!

With the Insert Picture, you are supposed to get pictures from the MIME, no local PC. Are you on 3.5 or NW2004s?

2004s.

Also, here is the actual link to the image that is generated.

See any problems?

(I removed the server and port for security reasons)

Is the problem because it's being served through the portal?

Sorry, can't verify from here as we have a 3.5 system, but can take a look from another system home...

I saw another thread with the same issue in 2004s. no one replied to the poor soul. If you can help out further that would be great!

Thanks!
