Hi,
We want to limit the number of sessions per user to 10 by setting parameter SESSIONS_PER_USER.
As we know , there is a dedicated shadow process in oracle for each SAP work process. Is it feasible to set SESSIONS_PER_USER=10 in oracle for SAP system?
Best Regards.
Tushar
Hi Tushar,
If i understand you correctly, You cannot manage SAP users at oracle level, you will need to limit the users from within SAP
this is an overview from SAP
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/47/c32b96f41f2974e10000000a42189b/content.htm
http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/Limiting+Number+of+Users+Logged+On
Just to add, number of sessions per user be limited
12466 - Logon restrictions in R/3
If you set parameters at DB level you limit the whole SAP system and not just users.
Best Regards
Marius
