What is the difference between KM and DMS in terms of functionality?

Hi,

DMS is R3 Gui, KM is portal. DMS is for structure techical documents, KM is for unstructured data.

HI

DMS the max could be used as repository ( place where document reside) in km.

if u want to explore km then according to me u need to start with portal basics and get into in detail about KM. only then it will help you.Km is built on a layer of portal.

u can get lot of documents from sdn.
