Hi Vincent,

search for the following pattern in the irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps directrory:

bc*_api.jar BaseComponents (Repository Framework)

km*_api.jar KM Application

coll*_api.jar Collaboration

Then you will have all neccessary libraries.

Hi Vincent,

did you index a LDAP server? I am looking for a way to use TREX to search an external LDAP server (not UME). Maybe you can help me.

We use Java Web AS 6.40 and SAP EP 6.0 SP14.

Kind regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

in KM, you can index anything with TREX that is connected to the repository framework.

=>

You will need a repository manager for that external LDAP.

Hi Karsten,

I agree. But I haven't found a repository manager for LDAP. Did you?

Martin

Nope,

You may have to create your own.

Or somebody here has one to offer...

Cheers,

What a shame or does anybody offer a Repository Manager to search LDAP servers with TREX?

Cheers,

Martin

Hi Vincent,

huh, at least this time I can help you; hope you didn't get the impression until now that asking on SDN won't return an answer

See

Use usrsap[...]JC[...]j2eeclusterserver[...]appssap.comirjservlet_jspirj ootWEB-INFportalportalapps as the root folder for the search.

Hope it helps

Detlev
