JVM Install on PocketPc 2003

Hi,

Can someone tell me what's the normal installation process for the java jvm (CrEme 3.26) given that I have a .cab file? I've tried to install it following the "installing from the internet" procedure but I always get an error message (in german) wich I believe translates to "There's no appropiate installation files for your device either for the jvm or the MI". I've tried changing manually to other device types but I always get the same error.

Thanks

Hi

You can use Active sync and copy the installer to PocketPC file system from PC and then click the cab file,it will install creme if the PocketPcs processor and other requirements are met.

Try looking into sites for further info:-

Hope this helps

Hi Harsh,

Thanks a lot, I must be blind because I didn't see a simple explanation like yours in the installation guide. It worked great. I had to soft reset the device so it could load the JVM.

Thanks again,

André
