Hello,

I would like to know if the annual message limits for Joule (for ex. for small clients 240.000 messages) are applicable for all instances together? Or is the limit valid for each instance, so clients could use 240.000 in the test system and additional 240.000 messages in the productive system?

Best regards

Julia

Hello, In addition to this question, I´d like to know how could know about the amount of messages consumed in a certain period? or how many have been consumed up to date? Is there any chance to know if we are going to surpassed the limit? Thanks in advance.

Joule will be available directly in SAP applications for free up to a certain limit. After the limit is exceeded, customers will need to pay for overage capacity with AI units. Customers will need to purchase SAP AI Units for access to Generative AI, these AI Units are used across all of a customer’s tenants.Customers will be billed for overage based on SAP AI Units consumed for blocks of 10,000 annual messages in excess of their “free” annual allotment.

Joule is the AI copilot that truly understands your business. You can learn more about the functionality here with documentation.

Joule has a free message limit and can be configured only on a customer’s test systems to try out. Customers will need to purchase SAP AI Units for access to Generative AI, these AI Units are used across all of a customer’s tenants. For small tier upto 5000 license. 240,000 messages will be annual message limit

AI Units are like “virtual currency” that allows customers to consume a wide set of Premium AI use cases across different LoB/Industrial solutions within SAP (including Joule overages). AI Units are based on annual subscription and are sold in blocks of 100 AI Units.

You can refer to documentation  to get some idea on AI units needed for specific cloud service

Hope this helps

Thanks
