Job Scheduling Error

Hi Experts

I have created a Batch and i used BOE Scheduler to schedule the Job i selected Multiple times a day option and scheduled the Job

I have specified CMS Username and password in Management CMS Connection.

I also specified Username and Password in Program logon in CMC for the Job created.

but the job was failed by an error as "error occurred while retrieving the file AL_RWJobLauncher.jar.  the Jar file was present in the installation directory of DS/bin

can any one please provide me a solution how to rectify this error.

Long shot, but anyone else experienced this behaviour and any resolutions to it.

Object Packages are failing with the same error recently, I tried to re-create the schedules and object packages and they run fine for a while and the problem resurfaces.  

Interestingly, the same object package when its run on demand, it always runs fine but the schedules fail intermittently and randomly.  In some instance the schedules run fine too.    FYI.  No changes to the account, or IPS/DS.  These schedules have been running from a long time and started failing last couple of weeks or so.

Are you trying ot schedule the job as "administrator" .... if you are not ck that user trying to schedule the job has the "scheduler" priv on the repo in question and is in the Operator grp.

Does the same job work fine with DS scheduler ?

Can you also check the OS owner of BO cms process and directory permission where this jar file is available ?

Check that the CMS connection has the correct pwd ....

Press the Test button, you should get a success message ...

if err, then chg the pwd to the right,

repeat the test,

when successful apply it

Do you have separate servers for BOE and DS job server ?
