Hello, I have 2 separate JavaScript errors occurring on 2 different systems that I would like to see if anyone has experienced or has any feedback on. We are running an EP6 SP2 front end, connecting to a CRM 4.0 backend. We are utilizing the CRM Business Package 602.
In one of the systems (Portal and CRM), when we access any workset tied to a BSP (Account Management-->Accounts for example), after clicking 3-4 of the tabs in the BSP, a JavaScript error appears in the browser that says, "Error on Page" and when you look at the details, it says the error is an "invalid syntax". The BSP is rendered inoperable unless you refresh the whole page. This behavior only happens in the portal, and not when we bring up the BSP in the BluePrint App Builder from CRM (so it appears to be a portal issue).
In the other system (another portal and CRM), when you access any workset tied to a BSP (Account Management-->Accounts for example), as soon as the page is done rendering, a JavaScript error appears in the bottom of the browser that says "Done, but with errors on page.". The details of the error say "Object Expected". The BSP is rendered inoperable and even refreshing the same thing happens again. The same behavior occurs when we bring up any BSP in the BluePrint App Builder from CRM (so it does not appear to be a portal thing).
We have searched and searched for notes and submitted an OSS message and so far no fixes have worked. The only note that seems remotely close to this issue says to install Hotfix 1, which we have Hotfix 4 installed so that should be taken care of. We have also tested in numerous browser versions and also tweaked browser settings with no change.
Has anyone ever seen these error(s) and might know how to fix them or point us in the right direction to fix them? Thanks in advance!!
Dave K.
SAP got back to us. Note 695179 was applied to our CRM system and the issue is resolved.
