Issue with the data sorting in analytical list report page

Dear Experts,

I am working on an application, where i created a Fiori elements ( Analytical List Report ) application. I have the dimension as year and month and measure as leave count. The data type of year and month is declared string. And leave count as integer. While rendering the chart, i get this issue where the december month record comes first. I have already sorted the data in my CAP server and i can see the response in the network call in the sorted way as i intended. But when the application is displayed, the chart is not in correct sorted order.

Hi, could you share some more details of your application, or maybe a demo with the repro case? I think what would be useful is the annotations you using on the UI. Question: Are there any reason why not using Date instead of String?
