Issue with System Copy for S/4HANA server

Hi Experts,

We are performing a system copy, so as to replicate Production DB on our training system. Our production landscape is on S/4HANA 2023, and we are creating a (new) training environment on S/4HANA 2021.

At last (when 94% execution is done) of SWPM steps, we are getting an error "DBIF_SETG_BUFFER_TOO_SHORT" and we are unable to figure out any solution for that. Please help in resolving this error.

You can't do homogeneous copy to a different product version!

hi, check the job in your sap system which is pushed from swpm . also check st02 because it is mentioned that a buffer is too small. just login into your sap system even swpm is not finished yet it should be possible with ddic at least. br
