Is there APIs for Application Logging Service?

Hi,

In Application Logging Service, we can download logs from Kibana dashboard with the following method.

https://help.sap.com/viewer/ee8e8a203e024bbb8c8c2d03fce527dc/Cloud/en-US/24497bd61c72424aab68bcbe5d6...

Is there an API to do the same thing? The requirement behind this is to automatically download logs and store them locally, as the log retention period is limited to 7 days.

I have searched API Business Hub, but not able to find APIs for Application Logging Service.

If any of you have had a similar requirement, please let me know how you achieved it.

Best regards,

Mio

I do not see any documentation as you said, but few thoughts are here.

For example, your trial hostname for Kibana logs would be https://logs.cf.eu10.hana.ondemand.com/

When I looked into this dashboard, I see that it calls REST APIs to get data to be shown on the dashboard. For example

Above URL might be specific to dashboard visualizations, bu have you looked here?
REST API | Kibana Guide [master] | Elastic

Thank you for your quick response.

The document you put on the link looks helpful. I'll check it out.

Hi kpnair,

Unfortunately, we haven't found a way to extract logs from application logging.

An alternative would be to stream logs to other log management system, as described below.
