Is there any availability matrix for cloud applications support by SAP CTMS ?

Hello Experts,

Thanks a lot for your time. I have a query to understand if we can use as interplay service of SAP cloud transport management within SAP cloud ALM on across multiple cloud applications in the cloud environment. Example SAP Ariba, IBP, SAP concur, BTP and so on. Can this be one stop solution for transporting content of all cloud application / platforms.

I have checked and gone through the community page faq, sap discovery, road map viewer and API integrator. There is no availability matrix sort to say the each cloud application with type of content supported by SAP cloud Transport Management.

Could you please share any relevant details in your experience using CTMS?

Hi Harald, thank you for your reply. There is currently nothing planned in the roadmap for Cloud Transport. Is that correct? In the cloud, each application has kind of its own transport mechanism. I think it would be beneficial to have an integrated solution, especially for IBP and other applications.

Hello Sai,

basically SAP Cloud Transport Management is planned to be the transport tool for cloud content in connection with SAP Cloud ALM. However, from the applications you mentioned (SAP Ariba, IBP, SAP concur, BTP) only BTP is supported and here again only for a selected number of services inside SAP BTP.

For planned future support please regularly check the cTMS roadmap.

Hi @LuizF,

actually Cloud Transport Management is exactly the common transport solution which can (and should) be implemented by all SAP cloud solutions. However, the respective development teams are free in the planning and prioritization of this implementation. Unfortunately, this topic often receives a low priority when competing with new features in the solution itself, especially if there is already a transport solution of some kind.

If you have specific requirements for transporting content in one or several solutions I would propose to open a request on the customer influence site: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/2400. This allows us to show the customer need to the corresponding development team helping to get a higher priority for the implementation. This is especially true if this request gets upvoted several times...

On the Cloud Transport Management roadmap for Q3/2024 you can find SAP Datasphere as newly offered solution (already available) and SAP Build Apps as planned. Here I am not quite sure if it is already available, it could also shift into Q4/2024. 
But you are correct, if we talk about SaaS solutions outside of SAP BTP we don't have concrete dates in out roadmap yet.
