Is there a way to find all iViews of a particular type simultaneously?

Hi All,

My question may sound too trivial of sort but I am really looking for a way to find all iViews of a particular type in PCD. For e.g. Find all URL iViews in PCD and also find what URL it is pointing to? I know I can do this by writing a custom application but is there any other way out? I tried using PCD Inspector but no use.

Hi Ameya

The only thing that springs to mind is the Advanced Find feature in 7.3 Portal versions. With it you can specify to search for particular PCD object types (e.g. iView), then you can also add "Property Based Filters" to the search, so for example you could use the property "url" as a filter and set it equal to the url of the URL iView, for the iView you wanted to find...

Hello,

Simon is very right I only would suggest to use the "CodeLink" instead of URL in the field "Property ID" to search for the needed IView type. For example "com.sap.portal.httpconnectivity.urliviews.runtime" will show You all URL IViews.
