Is manually reloading a database used with SQL Remote still supported with v16 and above?

The 12.0.1 doc page on Rebuilding databases involved in synchronization or replication lists two methods:

  1. using DBUNLOAD -ar (as an in-situ reload) and
  2. a second method ("manual intervention") using a "normal" unload (say, with a reload.sql file) and with applying DBLOG -x 0 -z ...

The according v16 doc page does only list the first method, as does the v17 doc. The method via "manual intervention" is omitted.

Question: Will the second method work with v16 and v17, too? (I'd expect this to be the case...)

(Note: I'm aware that DBUNLOAD -ar is less error-prone and simpler but sometimes there are reasons to modify the reload.sql in-between...)

The manual rebuild is still documented in Versions 17 and 16. It has it's own article now instead of being combined article as before Rebuilding databases involved in synchronization or replication (manual)

Thanks, Nick - I completely missed the separate articles.
