Is it possible to set filter values using URL Parameters in Fiori Elements?

We are sending notification emails to users based on conditions. One of them is a date, with the value as current date.

Users get a link in the email that they can use to launch the report. Is it possible to set the values of the filters of the filter bar using URL parameters, especially if we need dynamic values?

We are using a List Report template, with SAP UI5 v1.96

Hi,

Is this for Fiori elements OData V2 or V4? In any case, adding a filter value in the URL should already work - something like abc.html#<Semantic Object>-<Action>?OrderType=ABC

This should bring in ABC value into the OrderType filter property. The other (more standard) way would be to define this as a FLP TargetMapping property for this intent and then have this value passed from the source application. Maybe https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_NETWEAVER_750/cc1c7615ee2f4a699a9272453379006c/bd8ae3d327ab4541bcce8e7... is helpful.

Best Regards,

   Sandeep

The source would be a link on an email, hence the typical cross application navigation scenario doesn't apply. I tried the URL parameter, but it didn't apply and got lost in the app state parameters.

@Joel_John: It should be exactly in this format: https://abc.def/yourFLPSandbox.html#SemanticObject-SemanticAction?OrderType=ABC&/?sap-iapp-state=<key> and make sure to use the exact technical name of the property as it is in the metadata for the filter field.
