Hello experts
I would like to exclude individual tables from the Hana backup.
I had found a hint for this parameter exclude_tables on the web, but not in the official SAP doc.
global.ini
[backup]
exclude_tables = "table1", "table2", "table3"
Does this possibility for Hana 2.0, platform edition exist?
Thanks!

Hi Colleagues,
As per my knowledge, we can't exclude tables from Backup,
we can take a backup and after recovery we can drop the tables which are not needed, or we can drop the tables which are not needed and take a backup.

Deepak

Hi Deepak Kaluti,
thank you very much for your quick reply.
This is very unfortunate. We have the situation that some CalcViews create very large Table_Snapshots for processing data loads and then unnecessarily consume a lot of space on the file system for the backup.
Therefore, it would have been nice if there was a way to be able to delete these Table_Snapshots.
Regards
Dirk
