Hello Gurus

I am working on the cube 0IC_C03, for which data is coming from 3 different info sources. I went thru SAP notes:353042. In which it states that we need to "Activate the determination of Process Key" with the help of transaction MCB_

I tried this in the R/3 system, I am getting the following msg

"View/table V_TMCLBW can only be displayed and maintained with restrictions"

I tried this in BW as well, it says no transaction exists..

Can anyone help me how to activate the 0Processkey. Any kind of help is really appreciated.

The determination of the process key must be determined in the source system.

First you have to determine, if you are using R/3 Standard or Retail.

Hi Roberto and Maik

In R/3 i maintained Standard under

SBIW>Settings for Applications specific Datasources-> Logistics>Settings: Inventory controlling--> Determine Industry sector. After Executing Industry sector, i selected the option <b>STANDARD</b>.

This is what i did. Is this process called Activating the 0PROCESSKEY? Pls clarify me..i am very much confused.

Yes, it is clearly mentioned in the note.

<i>After you have chosen the industry sector by using MCB_, perform the setup again, so that the system fills a valid transaction key for each data record generated. Then load this data into your connected BW by using 'Full update' or 'Initialization of the delta process'.</i>

So I hope, now your previous doubt is also clear by the sentence <i>industry sector by using MCB_</i>. MCB_ allows you to save industory sector as 'Standard' , i.e, what you have done by navigation at SBIW.

Are you trying to fill setup tables and to test in RSA3 if you don't need to do this activity because PROCESSKEY is already activated !?
