Inventory - 0IC_C03 - Rule Groups

Hi Experts,

I have a question related to Inventory Cube – 0IC_C03.

The transformation used for loading the data from the data sources like 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_BF contains different rule groups.

Like, in case of loading the data from 2LIS_03_BF, I can see that for Rule Group 2 which loads the data for the VALUATED STOCK, does not have the mapping for Storage Location, Batch, and Stock Type. Likewise for other rule groups, some mappings are not maintained for the info-objects even though we have it in source.

Is there a specific reason what SAP has done that? What if I create a single STANDARD RULE GROUP, map the appropriate target objects and provide SAP delivered field routines for the Key Figures?

Also, please share the relevant document that can help me in getting the proper understanding of this SAP Delivered object.
