Interval 01 of number range RS_OBJNUMG is missing > Long text

Former Member

We just create a change request when "Switch from local object $TMP to a custom z package". Now we transport this change request from DEV system to TEST system. But when this change request was imported on TEST system, got the "Method Execution" red error which can be checked through STMS in log. The 1st error msg is red color as below (see below in between two dashed lines):

-

Interval 01 of number range RS_OBJNUMG is missing > Long text

-

The next line of the above is a yellow color msg which is as below (see below in between two dashed lines):

-

Characteristic 0NAME: Lower case makes selection of char. values difficult

-

Then other three lines of red errors are together and they are:

-

Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for IOBJ L

The errors affect the following components:

BW-WHM (Warehouse Management)

-

Any idea on how to fix the above errors?

Thanks

Run this program RSDG_OBJNUMG_CREATE_INTERVAL.It will create the interval or goto SNRO transaction and select the RS_OBJNUMG AND manually enter the interval.

Check the SNRO transaction RS_OBJNUMG interval in your Dev system .

Hope this helps.

hey Smartone,

I try SNRO on both systems and the number ranges are there. Also I run the program RSDG_OBJNUMG_CREATE_INTERVAL in both systems, but still no help!

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi Kevin,

I think you are getting problem with Number range for the perticular object in your target system. Create a nuber range. see the fallowing links.

basically number range buffering is used to increase performance. usualy SID number range buffered,

transaction rsrv can be used to check -> all elementary tests >> master data >> compare number range and max sid. and >> transcation data >> comparison of rumber range and max dimid.

transaction SNRO is used to maintain number range.

hi Srini,

When I run RSRV on both DEV and TEST systems, both yield this msg

"No text exists for the test, which is implemented from class ATOMS_BEXOBJECTS"

What does this mean? And how to check which number range is missing. This change request was just generated when switching the InfoObj. 0Name from a $TMP package to a custom z package.

Any idea?

Thanks

Kevin,

about the strange error msg in RSRV (not related to your main problem), look at OSS Note 881519 'RSRV: RSRV296, No text exists for class ATOMS_BEXOBJECTS'...

Hope it helps!

hi Kevin,

have a try oss note 903291 ?

Manual solution

Get the name of the number range object from the error message shown above, for example, RS_OBJNUMG. Start Transaction SNRO. To display the intervals, use the number range function key and enter the name of the number range object as the object name. Change the intervals. The following from-numbers and to-numbers apply:

- RS_OBJNUMG: 0000001 - 9999000

- RSDDAGCUBE: 100000 - 199999

- RSSBRAUTH: 00000001 - 99999999

hey AHP,

We try SNRO and find the number range for RS_OBJNUMG: 0000001 - 9999000 is there! Do we have to import Support Package 16 for our BW 3.5?

Thanks
