Let me know if you are interested in participating in an new ASUG Group that I am looking to form focused on SAP Wireless / Mobile Solutions and Infrastructure.

I have been involved and created a number of ASUG User groups and Chapter Groups during my involvement over my last 10 years working in the SAP world and ASUG including the following groups: Utilities, Plant Maintenance,Production Strategies and Continuous Improvement (now Maintenance Strategies) and most recently Enterprise Portals.

In my current role at TransAlta I am responsible for our Wireless / Mobile Program.

We could potential setup a structure and achieve the same degree of success and SAP Influence that we have had with the ASUG Enterprise Portals Group.

Here is a sample of what has been put in place for SAP Enterprise Portals:

Sample: Enterprise Portals SIG Group Page

http://www.asug.com/groups/group.cfm?group_pk=141

This group could covers numerous SAP Wireless / Mobile related topics such as: Design, Business Value - ROI, Implementation, Support, Technical, Development, Device and RFID.

In order to get a user group going within ASUG focused on SAP Wireless / Mobile Solutions and Infrastructure, I need to recruit 20 companies that are interested to get this group going (requirement of the Americas SAP User Group Bylaws - http://www.asug.com).

I will be planning informal meetings of interested individuals at SAPBWPortals2003 (Orlando - March), ASUG 2004( Atlanta - May) and SAPPHIRE 2004 (May - New Orleans) - so let me know if you are also attending any of these events and would like to get together at any of these events.

Here is my contact information if you are interested in participating or would like further information:

Paul_Kurchina@TransAlta.com Phone 403-267-7903

Lets get a user group going to help each other exploit Wireless / Mobile, the overall objectives would be to Educate, Network and Influence SAP.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Prithipal,

I am not sure if that special interest group is still around, this is quite an old posting. However, you could try to attend this next week:
