Integration Of iviews

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me whether a Customised iView developed using WebDynpro can call Standard iViews which are already present in EP and can function accordingly?

Hi,

You can use portal eventing from WD, as described in <a href=http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/79/3857422d095542e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm>Communicating with Other iViews</a>. But this requires that the existing iViews have eventing set up.

You can simply navigate to the other iViews, as described in <a href=http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/56/b4544251dcc153e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm>Navigating in the Portal</a>

Some of the documentation is the same as what appears in the SDN articles referred to above, but I prefer the Help Portal version

This should be possible by adding portal eventing to the webdynpro view.
