Hello,

The IP comes together with BI 7.0

Regarding the Portal, yes, you must have installed a Portal with BI Java.

Review the link about Netweaver and BI Java dependency:

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/webcontent/uuid/6010addf-e096-2b10-8893-e98586d005f9 [original link is broken]

Also, you have to maintain you BI Diagnostics reporting only green lights (see note 937697 - VERSION 80)

Finally, review these three notes below:

919850 - Problems with the planning modeler and the planning wizard

947376 - Troubleshooting JCo and AdaptiveRFC in Web Dynpro for Java

901022 - Integrated Planning: RSPLS321 (J2EE engine not found)

Hi,

You need not go for EP explicitly for IP.EP is entrprise portal ,prupose of this module is to have common user friendly portal for an organisation. For IP J2EEE engine needs to be installled so you can use RSPLAN transaction for IP planning.Once portal is configured for Java you can use the above transaction completely.

You can create aggregation level using RSPLAN and use it as Input ready query.

Hi.

You should setup java engine to run IP modeler.

To run IP modeler you must have portal installed and configured.
