Integrated Planning - Aggregates

Hi Friends !

We have the IP project in the development stage. We need to build the aggregates. When I read the IP SAP books, it says "Aggregates should be below the MP" but I heard somewhere aggregates should be above the MP. I browsed the forums but wasnt clear. Can you please advise & confirm? Thanks.

Hi Rekha,

Aggregation can be build on two levels.

1. On top of a real time infocube (also known as simple aggregation level)

2. On top of a multiprovider which contains atleast 1 realtime infocube (also known as complex aggregation level)
